The Night Before

I just got back from doing some preliminary setup at my precinct. We constructed the voting booths, put out non-sensitive material, and elected me to bring the coffee maker. As ready as we'll ever be!

Nota bene: everyone likes baked goods and poll workers are no exception.

I'd bring some if I could -- hope the day goes smoothly for all of you. Being on the inside of such a contested election should be very interesting. I'm looking forward to the blog after it's over.

Very proud of you. Wish more americans would do their part. Voting is so important to our freedom. Glad you are helping the effort.

Thanks, guys! My number one hope for the day is that no one uses the touchscreen (they aren't widely used in California). If that happens, our work is so much easier.
