Back-to-Back
Summer just got a little busier with an acceptance to Squaw Valley. It begins the day after Napa, so I think there's a rental car and a scenic trip in my future. Along with lots and lots of manuscript critiquing. And, if time permits, perhaps a little wine-tasting and a hike.

Congrats on your acceptance to Squaw, Michelle! The workshops will be especially poignant this year, given the passing of Oakley Hall -- but happy and spiritual too. No doubt you'll have a great time and learn a lot. As an aside, my husband and I have stayed twice at the Resort at Squaw Creek (www.squawcreek.com). Anniversary celebrations both times, unrelated to the conference. It's visible from the village. Check it out while you're there.
Thanks, Renee! I'm going to miss you at Napa, but know you'll be making great progress on the novel re-write. I've see the Resort at Squaw Creek from the outside, but have never been in. I might just have to poke around a little, maybe get a drink. Thanks for the tip!
