They Come in All Sizes

(Note the quarter for size.
Also note: this photo depiction of rejection letter is larger than actual size.)

Today I received what might be the smallest rejection letter ever. I'm not sure what to make of it. A gesture of condescension? A nod to the environment? An attempt at being different? A quirk of the artistic world? Whatever the reason, the encouraging, personalized note on the back was appreciated. I will submit again.

I would have said "cheap," except they were nice to you, so instead I'll just say "odd." Maybe they actually printed their rej. slips using the setup for labels. Haaaaaa. I crack myself up!

I want to submit again in the hope of one day being accepted. The publication would be an honor, but perhaps more importantly, I want to see what they send out for an acceptance.
