"Rabbit at Rest" by John Updike

I love this book. If you read it, you will, too.

It's funny, sad, slightly disturbing, and a smidge depressing. I swear these make for a good read.

What do state legislators give themselves for being five and a half months behind on approving a budget? A bonus, of course.

Something to keep your spirits up.

Have you read the other Rabbit books?

Just the first, Rabbit, Run. Loved it.

I take it you are an Updike fan? He seems to write with the same sensibilities as Cheever.
