Stay tuned these next seven weeks as I track the building of our Mini and gradually say goodbye to the Green Dragon.

A Mini Victory
One half of this marriage was supposed to go to Central America this weekend. Instead, we stayed together and bought a car.

FINALLY!
Seeing Michelle so excited is worth anything!!!!
YIPEE!
Now a moment of silence for the Green Dragon. We all know it's fate.
OK, so details please.
Color?
Stripes?
Auto/Manual?
"S" package?
Extras?
And the BIG question. Who gets the keys?
:-)
Ooooh, I'm so excited for you! You've been looking at the Minis for years, and I'm glad you're finally going to get one. Can't wait to see what it looks like :-)
Well look who just became the most popular Panik. I promise you will each get a ride in due time.
As for the one we ordered, it looks like the picture from this blog entry, except the rims are smaller.
As for the Green Dragon, all I can say is that the "I-5 Cement Incident" proved permanent. More info about this later, when I finally feel ready to discuss such a traumatic incident.
Please purchase one with the beefy "S" Engine and stiff suspension so that I can recreate the chase sequence in The Italian Job. Anybody know a sewer system that has a jump at the end?
Of course it's an S! When I test-drove the regular, I thought it had some mechanical problem. Turns out it's just sluggish. I don't know about a sewer, but there's always the LA River Basin, which was in "Grease" and a million other movies.
Cement?
YEA, CEMENT???
Please explain!!!!
